九南本是延边的出租车司机，妻子为了挣钱到韩国打工，自己过着落魄灰败的生活。他已经六个月没有妻子的消息了，并整日出入麻将馆，债台高筑。一天，他遇到买凶杀人的联络人诱使他偷渡到韩国行凶。为了讨债，也为了寻觅妻子的踪迹，九南越过了黄海…… 来到首尔后，九南一方面寻找杀人机会，一方面四处打听妻子的踪迹。然而，就在目标人物出现在九南眼前时，他却让对方逃脱了。谁知，九南就此背负上了杀人的罪名，受到警方追击。而另一厢，真正的幕后主使为了消除委托杀人的证据，联络当时在延边接触九南的联络人，欲联手致他于死地……
